Odisha government warns Titli cyclone causing heavy rain in the next 48 hours -

On Monday, the Odisha government has ordered all District Magistrates to be alert with complete preparation of administrative machinery in the context of cyclone 'Titli
' and the prediction of heavy rains on Monday. The State Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has asked the officials in the districts to remain in the headquarters and not to take leave until the state of cyclone ends.

The District Emergency Office will also be open for 24 hours to monitor the situation closely. Sources in the Meteorological Department said that the pressure in the Eastern Bay of Bengal has increased, and it will further intensify in the next twenty-four hours and there is a possibility of a cyclonic storm coming in next 24 hours.

Meteorological sources said that by tomorrow evening, the whole picture will be clear where the cyclone will affect the storm, so people will be removed from these areas. Earlier, the Meteorological Department had issued the warning of the cyclonic storm and heavy rains in the coastal areas of Odisha in the next 48 hours. Fishermen have been advised not to go to the Marine region of the Mid-Bay Bay during October 8 to October 11, and during the nine-October to 12th October, the ocean area of Odisha coast and the northern Bengali bay and its surroundings should not go around it. Those fishermen who have gone into the sea will be back by tonight.

Gajapati, Ganjam, Kendrapara, Puri, and Jagatsinghpur of Odisha have received heavy rains on 9th October while in the more extreme areas of the state, 10 October thunderstorms are expected to fall. October 11th is expected to occur in Khurda, Nangarhad, Cuttack, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore districts. There is likely to be heavy rains on October 12 in Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Kandhamal, Buddhist, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak and Balasore districts of the state.
