Why Lord Shiva Cut Lord Ganesha's Head

Why Lord Shiva Cut Lord Ganesha's Head:

It is said that the person's present, based on his past deeds and future is based on current karmas. But this thing applies not only to humans but also to Gods. There are many such stories in our mythology that due to the inappropriate actions are done by God in the past, they have to suffer in the time to come. One such story is related to Lord Shankar when he had to cut the head of his own son Ganesh due to the curse gave by Kashyap Rishi.

Goddess Parvati created Ganesha by rubbing her body and put life in it and said that you are my son. You obey my commands and do not belong to anyone. Goddess Parvati also said that I am going for a bath. Nobody can come in. After a while, Lord Shankar came there and the goddess started going to Parvati's house.

Seeing this, the boy humbly tried to stop them. Seeing the child's persistence, Lord Shankar got angry and he cut the head of that child with his trident. When Goddess Parvati saw it, she became very angry. Then all the Gods praised to Lord Shankar together and asked them to revive the child.

Then, on the advice of Lord Shankar, Vishnuji brought a head of an elephant to the head and kept the head alive on the body of that child and resurrected it. Then Lord Shankar and other gods gave many blessings to that gorgeous child. The Gods praised that child with various names like Ganesha, Ganapati, Vinayak, Vighnaharata, First Pujya etc.

Kashyap Rishi had given the curse to Shiva:

According to Brahmavivartapura, Narada once asked Shri Narayana that Lord is very wise and you know all the Vedas. I want to know from you that Lord Shankar is considered to remove all the problems but why did he cut the head of his son Ganesh?

After listening to this, Srinarayan said Narada is a matter of time. Shankar struck with his trisul on the Suryadev that killed the Mali and Sumalali. The Suryadev was as bright and powerful as Shiva. Therefore, the consciousness of the Suryadev destroyed by the injury of the trisul. He immediately fell down from the chariot. When Kashyapji saw that his son was in a state of dying. Then they started chattering him with a chest and began to moan. At that time there was a stroke in all the gods. All of them are afraid and start fluttering loudly. The darkness became dark in the whole world due to the darkness. Then  Kashyapji cursed Shivaji as he said, "Today my son is getting stuck because of your strike." That's exactly how your son will be. Your son's head will be cut.

Listening to this, the anger of Bholanath became silent. He revived the sun. Suryadev stood in front of Kashyap. When they came to know about Kashyap's curse, he decided to give up all. By listening to this, Lord Brahma reached to Suryadev with the inspiration of the Gods and appointed them on their work.

Brahma, Shiva, and Kashyap got blessings to Suryadev and went to their own resident. Here the Suryadev rises on its own zodiac. After this Mali and Sumali got white leprosy, which destroyed their effect. Then Brahma said to both of them, "The sharpness of both of you is over with the wrath of the sun. Your body has got spoiled. You worship the sun. Both of them started worshiping the sun and again became healthy."
